SZA Covers 90's Hit "Kiss Me": Watch The Live Performance
SZA may have fans waiting for her upcoming album but she is finding ways to please them with surprising offerings. During her headlining performance at the Ill Point Music Festival in Miami, Florida this weekend, the singer took debuted her cover of Sixpence None The Richer's "Kiss Me," introducing the classic 90's track to a whole new generation of fans.
"That song just makes me happy as fuck and I really wish it was '98 right now," SZA told the crowd. The UK band's track gained massive popularity among American audiences after its inclusion in a hit teen-movie entitled, She's All That. It has been covered by other artists including Avril Lavigne and New Found Glory. There is no word on whether SZA plans to release an official audio recording of her rendition.

SZA is up for an Academy Award for Best Original Song for her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, "All the Stars." The pair is expected to perform the Black Panther track during the Oscars ceremony this weekend, but the Academy has yet to confirm the act. The joint was also nominated at the Grammy Awards for Record of The Year, Song of The Year, and Best Rap/Sung Performance.
